ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮੌਤ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਸੂਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 1 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਐਕਸ-ਗ੍ਰੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਡੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ ਵੀ ਕੇ ਭਾਵਰਾ ਦੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ 23000 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਡੀਓ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਭਲਾਈ ਫੰਡ ਨੂੰ 10 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੋਂ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ 15 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
